JAMNESTY at UW: Hip Hop for a cause DEC 6th 7pm

JAMNESTY: Hip Hop for a Cause

On Thursday, December 6, from 7pm-10:00pm in the University o Washington HUB North Den
(http://depts.washington.edu/sauf/hub/directions.php), the UW Amnesty
International group will be hosting "JAMNESTY!" a benefit hip-hop concert. The show itself
will be FREE, but we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE donations to go towards our cause
(listed below). The performing artists include:

Abyssinian Creole (hip hop duo of Gabriel Teodros and Khingz; http://www.myspace.com/abcreole)
Rudy and the Rhetoric (Voted Top 5 "Best Music on Campus" by MTVu; http://www.myspace.com/rudyandtherhetoric)

All proceeds will be going toward workers of the only two unionized garment
factories in Guatemala, which have been closed down since May. For more info on
